Description

Don Daniel Moreno is the patriarch of the vast Moreno clan that rules the coffee scene in the town El Cedral in the Santa Barbara region of Honduras. Daniel purchased his first plantation, La Sierra, there in 1963 which is still producing to this day. Daniel passed away in April of 2018 but his farms are still managed by his seven sons. We had the good fortune to spend a day with most of the Morenos in April of 2024. And let me tell, aside from being top notch coffee producers, they are also excellent hosts! This coffee comes from El Campo, another one of Daniel's farms near El Cedral. We bought 2 separate lots from El Campo this year. In this first release you will find plenty of sweet honey and raspberry with some cool florals on top.
