Our dear friend Alexis Iammarino has created The Brick Journal, a beautiful collaborative publication that centers around the humble brick. The eight-section publication is comprised of writing, art folios, oral histories and fumetti —Italian for comics! — a section replete with cartoons, games, trivia, and artist-on-art interviews! Tandem Coffee collaborated with Alexis on the "Coffee Break is Sacrosanct" advert in the fumetti section which we made into a very limited run t-shirt! The "trowel guys" are all drawn by the late and great Richard Iammarino, Alexis’s father, who was a prolific painter, sculptor, diarist, and brilliant cartoonist.
