Bookkisa Washed (GREEN)

We have been buying Ture Waji's washed and natural coffees from the sub-Kebele of Bookkisa for 2 years in a row now. His coffees are so dependable and we basically cup the buying samples as a formality already knowing that we will be buying them. Ture managed farms and production in the area before he began Sookoo coffee, getting to know the land and the people deeply. This year we are offering bother the natural and the washed versions of this coffee. Instead of the fresh fruit bomb that is the natural, in the washed we’re tasting melon, deep cherry, and cocoa powder. They are similar but so very different; we suggest trying them together to see how the process affects the tasting experience. Either way, we love this washed addition to our lineup.
