Nala Sinephro - Endlessness
Nala Sinephro is back on the Good Thing! She’s 2 for 2 with both of her albums now being featured on the subscription. Sinephro’s first record, Spaces 1.8, is one of my absolute favorite records we’ve ever shipped. I will always fondly associate it with the rebuilding of Little Tandem during the pandemic as it was often my background music throughout the construction project. You know what? I think I just may declare that when a new Nala Sinephro record is released we will be sending it out as a Good Thing. If that doesn’t sound ok to you, you may be in the wrong coffee and vinyl club. Endlessness has only just come out and it has already gotten plenty of play around here. This morning I flew home from a wedding in New Jersey. Once I dropped off the rental car, I placed my headphones over my ears and started streaming it. I listened to it all through security, the 2 hours I waited at the gate and the full hour plane ride home. It must have repeated 4 or 5 times in total without me even realizing it. Endlessness is indeed a perfect name for this record. It’s like a euphonious mobius strip. Go get lost in it.
